Diane and I started our 2 day trip to hardanger on Friday. We drove along the northern side of Hardangerfjord first to Granvin, then to Osa, with the ferry from Bruravik to Brimnes and finally to the hotel in Eidfjord.

We rented a car and drove to an archiple only 45 minutes north west of Bergen: Fjell / Øygarden. Several small islands are interconnected through bridges. We made some smaller hikes on paths I have found through carwalks.com - one of those on the little island of Turøy. Although Bergen is on the seaside, you have to go here to see the real sea in all its beauty with an all blue horizon and sunset on the sea.

We - that’s Nick (New Zealand), Tobias (Austria), Jukka (Finland) and me - started at NHH on Wednesday at 2.30 pm under light rain and arrived at Lysefjord at around 7pm with not so light rain. On the way we took three ferries and drove around 250km. We stayed at a camping near Preikestolen and paid 300 NOK for a car plus tent.

I arrived in Bergen today. Both flights from Cologne to Oslo and from Oslo to Bergen were perfect. Two very kind students got me and another german exchange student at the Bergen Flesland Airport. The wether was nice with clear blue sky and around 20 °C.
