Happy Birthday, Nick

Today was Nick’s 23rd birthday, we had a nice dinner with Marie, Florence, Jukka, Nick and me at our kitchen. And of course the most important things about birthdays: Nick got some presents!

Kitchen Chamber Debating Society

I couldn’t find any English speaking debating society in Bergen, so I decided to found a society of my own - the Kitchen Chamber Debating Society. Nick and I recruited around ten exchange students to debate with us in British parliamentary style. Today was our first session in our kitchen at Hatleberg. I introduced the concept of debating and the rules to everybody and we had our first debate.

Arrival in Bergen

I arrived in Bergen today. Both flights from Cologne to Oslo and from Oslo to Bergen were perfect. Two very kind students got me and another german exchange student at the Bergen Flesland Airport. The wether was nice with clear blue sky and around 20 °C.
